The winner will represent the Dominican Republic Miss Universe 2009. The first runner up will represent the dominican republic in Miss Continente Americano. The second runner up will represent the dominican republic in Miss Reina Hispano America. The third runner up will represent the dominican republic in Miss Carribean. The fourth runner up will represent the dominican republic in Miss Global City.
