Ulearum

Ulearum is a monotypic genus of flowering plants in the family Araceae. The single species composing the genus is Ulearum sagittatum. It is endemic to western Brazil and Peru. Ulearum is similar to Callopsis, but Callopsis is found only on Africa and so its relation is uncertain. The second species of Ulearum was thought to have been discovered in the 1970's named Ulearum reconditum, but a new genus was later created for it and its name was changed to Bognera recondita in 1984.
