Mamed Khalidov is a Chechen mixed martial arts fighter. He competes in the Middleweight division of Polish MMA promotion KSW. He is currently undefeated in the promotion, with an impressive total of five wins without a defeat within KSW and a ten fight win streak overall.

Career

Khalidov has fought in six different KSW events, which more often than not feature a tournament with either four or eight participants. However, he has never participated in a tournament in the promotion, instead fighting individually such opponents as Daniel Tabera, another of Europe's elite.

His last fight was against Spaniard Daniel Tabera at KSW - Extra on September 13, 2008. A valiant Tabera worked efficiently for position on top and bottom, but Khalidov's striking and submissions forced a draw after the extra round. Mamed Khalidov's KSW record now sits at 5-0-1 and he is without a defeat in his last twelve fights.

Khalidov has recently signed with the US promotion EliteXC and will be making his debut on the October 10, 2008 ShoXC card against American Jason Guida.[1]
