15-year-old Amy Juergens takes a pregnancy test and realizes thats she is carrying Ricky Underwood's baby, after having lost her virginity one night to him at band camp. She reveals this secret to her two best friends Lauren and Madison. Meanwhile Jack, Grace's boyfriend, is found kissing Adrian, Ricky's girlfriend, at a charity event/party for Grace's and Jack's church. Amy also meets Ben.
2	"You Are My Everything"	July 8, 2008
Grace struggles to decide whether or not she should forgive Jack, and Lauren and Madison accidentally reveal Amy's secret about having bad sex with Ricky to Ben's two best friends, who then tell Ben about it. Ricky tries to get Amy to go out with him again, but he keeps saying he is just a friend to her and she keeps on telling him to back off, telling him she is seeing someone that someone being Ben. Also Ben tells Amy he loves her and they are now dating.
3	"I Feel Sick"	July 15, 2008
Ben continues to fall hard for Amy, and the two share their first kiss. Elsewhere, Amy tells her sister (but not her parents) about her pregnancy; Grace uses Ricky as a cover to sneak around with Jack, and a jealous Adrian feels like Ricky is just using her to have sex.
4	"Caught"	July 22, 2008
Two men try to abduct Grace, and, after praying, she uses a broken bottle to hold the men off before Ricky arrives, topless, to help her. The scene was recorded by a surveillance camera and reported on the local news. Amy is annoyed by Ben's clingy behavior, Ashley tells her parents that she had sex to cover for Amy sexual experience, and Amy and Ashley's mother accuses their father for cheating on her.
5	"What Have You Done to Me?"	July 29, 2008
Amy's dad leaves their family for Adrian's mother. Ben asks Amy to marry him, and she tells Ben about her and Ricky having sex one awkward night at band camp. Adrian finds out from Jack that Amy's pregnant with Ricky's baby. Ricky hears rumors that he got a girl pregnant.
6	"Love For Sale"	August 5, 2008
Amy finally tells her parents that she is pregnant, forcing her mother to reveal her own shocking secret: she got married because she was pregnant at a young age. Grace tries to stop Amy from having an abortion. Amy decides to have the baby.
7	"Absent"	August 12, 2008
Ricky wrestles with the consequences of his actions (i.e., getting Amy pregnant). Meanwhile, Grace experiences difficulties with Tom. Ricky and Amy grow closer. Ben catches Amy and Ricky making out after band practice and decides to quit band.
8	"Your Cheatin' Heart"	August 19, 2008
Amy and Ashley's grandmother visits and offers to help Amy. Elsewhere, Adrian and Grace strike up a friendship and Adrian makes sure everyone notices. Ben dumps Amy after seeing her with Ricky and she feels horrible. Amy feels the baby kicking for the first time and she finally feels a bond.
9	"Slice Of Life"	August 26, 2008
Secrets keep coming out as we find out something interesting from Ben's past. Adrian tries to hide her growing feelings for Jack, who has a juicy secret of his own concerning Amy. Meanwhile, Tom reveals Grace to be a boy raised by her parents as the girl they'd always wanted. Jack goes through a sexual orientation crisis upon finding out.
10	"Back To School Special"	September 2, 2008 short summary Amy returns to school. jack reveals his secret about amy. Amy begs Ben to take her back and Ricky tells Amy he loves her.
11	"Just Say No"	September 9, 2008
Amy dumps Ricky after she found him with Adrian and Ben and Amy talk and make up. Amy procalaims her love to Ben and Ben still loves her and wants to marry her, Amy has the same feeling.
