Westwood Highlands is a neighborhood in San Francisco, California. It is southeast of West Portal and on the south slope of Mount Davidson. Along with neighboring Westwood Park, Sherwood Forest, and St. Francis Wood, this area is often referred to as "the woods" as many of the local street names end with -wood (Brentwood, Hazelwood, Dalewood, Burlwood, etc.)
Comprising 283 homes originally built between 1924 and 1929, Westwood Highlands was one of the first neighborhoods in the United States to be governed by covenant[1].
