Cindel Towani
Cindel Towani is a fictional character in the Star Wars galaxy. Born in approximately 0 BBY, Towani is a young female human.
She appeared chiefly in the made-for-TV films: Caravan of Courage: An Ewok Adventure and Ewoks: The Battle for Endor, where she was portrayed by the then-young actress, Aubree Miller. She also went on to appear in a Star Wars novel by Michael P. Kube-McDowell.

Caravan of Courage
In the 1984 TV film Caravan of Courage: An Ewok Adventure, Cindel's family star cruiser crash-lands on the forest moon of Endor, when she was four standard years of age. Her parents, Jeremitt and Catarine Towani, were captured by the native Gorax. Cindel, along with her teenaged brother Mace were forced to forage and survive on their own, until the Ewok tribe that included Wicket W. Warrick found them and managed to rescue the Towani parents.
The Battle for Endor
In Ewoks: The Battle for Endor, the sequel released in 1985, the quest to rescue the parents was shown to be in vain, however, as both parents and Mace were later killed by the Marauders, leaving Cindel in the care of the Ewoks. This happened tragically, just as the Towanis were nearly finished repairing their starship. Cindel and Wicket were, however, eventually taken in by a hermit named Noa, who aided the Ewoks in defeating the Marauders and their leader, King Terak. Noa then repairs his starship, and he and Cindel leave Endor with Cindel making a promise to someday return.
Tyrant's Test
In Tyrant's Test, the third novel of The Black Fleet Crisis Trilogy by Michael P. Kube-McDowell, which is set over ten years later, Cindel grew up to be an intelligent and idealistic woman, and became a reporter on Coruscant. During the Yevethan crisis, Cindel received the so-called Plat Mallar tapes from Admiral Drayson, and leaked the story of the only survivor of the Yevethan attack of Polneye. The report was meant to garner sympathy among the people of the New Republic and the Senate. It worked. It is claimed that Cindel decided to join the New Republic after witnessing the Battle of Endor, eventually going into journalism.
