Barkote is a town and in Debagarh district in the Indian state of Orissa.

National Highway 6 and National Highway 23 passes through the town.

Geography

Barkote is located at 21°33′N 85°01′E / 21.55°N 85.01°E / 21.55; 85.01.[1] It has an average elevation of 126 metres (255 feet).
