Yûrei Yanagi is a famous Japanese actor. He was born Hiroshima Prefecture on 8 April 1963. He is also credited as Masahiko Ono or Yuurei Yanagi. Originally a member of Takeshi Kitano's gundan, he got to appear on the hit gameshow, Takeshi's Castle during the late 1980s. In 1990 he continued to work with Takeshi for the blockbuster film Boiling Point (aka 3-4x juugatsu). Afterwards, he appeared in over eight more films before meeting up with Takeshi again for the 1997 film, Fireworks (aka Hana-bi). However, his most recent roles have been in J-Horror fims such as Ringu, Ju-on and Ju-on 2.
