Ju-on - The Curse 2 ( Japanese 呪 怨 2 ) is a Japanese horror film in the Juon series by Takashi Shimizu from 2000. The film is the sequel to Juon: The Curse . The final chapter, Saori, continues in the subsequent sequel Ju-on: The Grudge in the Izumi chapter .

action

The action is shown in different chapters by several people. The first two chapters, Kayako and Kyoko, are the last two from the first film, but the Kyoko chapter has been expanded with a few additional scenes.

Kayako

Kobayashi finds Kayako's diary in Toshio's house, in which she writes about her love for Kobayashi. In the attic he finally finds Kayako's wrapped corpse. The light goes out and you can hear movement in the room. Kobayashi wants to go back downstairs to Toshio, but someone calls on his cell phone. It is Takeo, Kayako's husband, who says that Kobayashi should take good care of Toshio and that his wife gave birth to a pregnant girl, but he forcibly cut her out of her mother's womb. It turns out that Takeo found the diary and killed Kayako, then Toshio and his cat. Toshio then makes the cat noise and Kayako's ghost comes down the stairs. Kobayashi then has a heart attack. Kayako's ghost then kills Takeo in revenge for killing her and the unborn child.

Kyoko

Some time later, a landlord sends his sister Kyoko, who sees ghosts, to the Saeki house that he wants to sell. There she sees Kayako bending over herself. Kyoko drinks sake and then haunts it again, a sign that the house is cursed. But her brother ignores Kyoko's warning and sells the house to a family. Upon hearing this, Kyoko goes to the house and sees that the wife of the family is possessed by Kayako's ghost. She goes to her nephew Nobuyuki. There the two see Takeo Saeki's ghost murdering a woman. After that, they are traumatized.

Tatsuya

The recently moved in Kitada couple have been living in the house for a week. Yoshimi (Kahori Fujii) goes out to the mailbox when the man from the post office comes. He asks her how long the couple have been living there. She answers him and goes back to the door and opens the thin package that she received from the postman. The sender is unknown. The package includes a drawing of Toshio's parents, as in the first film, and also Kawamata Kayako's diary. She stares into the diary and her expression becomes more emotionless. Back in the kitchen, her husband complains that she didn't buy Blue Mountain coffee beans and that he wanted eggs. Yoshimi takes a hot pan and kills him. Tatsuya has now brought his sister Kyoko and his son Nobuyuki to his parents' home, where his father reveals to him that Kyoko inherited the ability to see ghosts from him and that she and Nobuyuki are cursed.

The next day Tatsuya drives to the house, where he is greeted by Yoshimi. She gives him tea, and when he picks up Toshio's drawing and he asks who drew it, she says her son drew it (although she said she had no children beforehand). When he hears a meow, he sees Toshio sitting on the couch with a phone to his ear. Tatsuya backs away while Yoshimi approaches him, transforms into Kayako, and kills him. Meanwhile, Kyoko and her parents are haunted by Toshio.

Kamio

Two detectives, Kamio (Taro Suwa) and Hazim (Reita Serizawa), are supposed to visit ex-policeman Yoshikawa and investigate his sudden disappearance. Murakami, who investigated the murders of Hisae and Kanna, is unavailable, according to his wife. In the garden, Kamio and Hazim then observe how the latter is mentally confused and begins to scream desperately at the sight of them. Kamio wants to file everything about the murders in order to save himself. The next morning, Yoshikawa's wife looks after this because he should have got up by now. She finds him sitting dead in the corner and then discovers Kayako's face on the ceiling, which she stares at and then kills too. At the same time, Hazim is investigating the file on Kayako's case when the very same allegedly appears in the police department. At that moment, Kamio runs out of his office screaming and is put on a bench by those present to calm him down. Hazim and a policewoman look in the office and are killed by Kayako. Meanwhile, Hazim notices that Kayako is under his bench before he dies too.

Nobuyuki

Tatsuya's son Nobuyuki, totally orphaned, is at school when he sees Kayako outside. She comes in to him, but he runs away. But it's useless, because she appears everywhere and chases him. Ultimately, she kills him while several kayakos can be seen outside making the noise.

Saori

In this chapter you can see the house with a sales sign in front of it. You can hear some girls sneaking in and drinking sake . At last you hear the girls screaming and the credits begin.
