Álvaro Acevedo , full name Álvaro Acevedo Fagúndez , (born May 18, 1995 in Artigas ) is a Uruguayan football player .
Career
The 1.93 meter tall defensive player Acevedo was at the beginning of his career until the end of January 2016 in the ranks of Club Atlético Peñarol . From the "Aurinegros" he moved to the Venezuelan club Estudiantes de Caracas , which loaned him directly to Portuguesa FC . There he played two games in the Primera División . He did not score a hit. In mid-July 2016, he was given on loan by Estudiantes to the Uruguayan first division promoted Boston River . He was not used in the 2016 season. In the 2017 season he was in the matchday squad at least once (as of August 9, 2017) on February 20, 2017.
