Miguel Ángel Segura is a retired Mexican soccer player in the position of striker .
Life
Segura played in 1942/43 in the Liga Mayor, which was still played on an amateur basis, for Club America , where he was also under contract during the first few years of the newly introduced professional league .
In 1945 he moved to city rivals Atlante , for whom he played up to and including the 1947/48 season and with whom he won the championship of the 1946/47 season.
Also in 1947, Segura belonged to the first formation of the Mexican national team , which in July 1947, after an eight-year break, played two friendlies against the USA (5-0) and Cuba (3-1). In both games Segura scored a goal in the 53rd minute of the game.
