The Ängelholms Idrottsplats (German: sports field Ängelholm ), often abbreviated as Ängelholms IP or Änglavallen called, is a sports stadium in the Swedish town of Ängelholm . The local football club Ängelholms FF uses the sports facility to host its home games.
background
The sports facility has a total of six soccer fields, some of which have artificial grass surfaces. The stadium itself has a natural grass surface and seats 5,000. It has a covered grandstand as well as two small standing grandstands on the back straight that are not covered. A running track runs around the field and there are other facilities for athletics .
The stadium is located in the southwest of Ängelholm. It was only after Ängelholms FF's rise to professional football in the early 2000s that four-digit visitors came to the club's games more often, but in recent years the club has had an average attendance of less than a thousand in the Superettan .
