Ånund Lid Byggland (born July 17, 1990 ) is a Norwegian cross-country skier .

Career

Byggland finished fourth in the sprint at the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships in Praz de Lys Sommand in 2009 and was sixth in the same discipline at the U23 World Championships in Liberec in 2013 . He made his debut in the World Cup with a 67th place in February 2011 at the sprint in Drammen . Byggland achieved his first World Cup points in February 2013 at the sprint in Davos , where he came in 25th. The 2012/13 season he finished 153rd in the overall World Cup ranking and 96th in the sprint ranking. At the Norwegian championship in Gåsbu in 2013 , he won silver in the sprint race.
