Çetin Şengonca

Çetin Şengonca (born March 29, 1941 in Söke , Turkey ) is an entomologist of Turkish origin and professor emeritus at the Institute for Plant Diseases of the Agricultural Faculty of the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn . In 1971 he received his doctorate from the faculty there with the topic " Behavior of two aphid species and their parasites as a function of ecological factors ".

He was head of the Entomology and Plant Protection Department and, among other things, a cooperation partner of the Biotechnology Center of the Fujian Academy of Agricultural Sciences.
