description

The Ecole Francaise de Banjul is a French-speaking school in The Gambia that teaches around 80 students aged 2 years (TPS; Toute petite section) to 16 years (CNED) and ranges from kindergarten to high school. It is one of the 450 schools in the Agence pour l'enseignement français à l'étranger (AEFE; Agency for French Teaching Abroad).

It is an international school that enrolls both local and foreign children. Currently, students of 25 nationalities are taught in French and some in English: math, history, science, geography, art, civics, etc.

Since there are only 15 to 18 students per class, the school's equipment is in better condition than many other schools in the country, e.g. B. through their computers and classroom furniture. By teaching French, children benefit from opening up a wider range of career opportunities around the world, especially if they are already proficient in English. Beginning early kindergarten education at the age of two allows the child an early start in life, the benefits of which can last a lifetime. The Ecole Francaise de Banjul is located in a quiet residential area near the coast in a very safe area. The school has air-conditioned classrooms.
