Édouard heart

Édouard Herzen (* 1877 in Florence ; † 1936 ) was a Belgian chemist.

Herzen received his doctorate in surface tension from the University of Lausanne in 1902 . He was a professor at the École des Hautes Études in Brussels.

He attended many of the Solvay conferences , for example the first in 1911 and the fifth in 1927, and was closely associated with the industrialist Ernest Solvay .

In 1924 he published a short popular science introduction to Einstein's theory of relativity (La relativité d'Einstein: exposée simplement, Libraire Nouvelle de Lausanne).
