Émile Jamais
Émile Jamais (born December 10, 1856 in Aigues-Vives , † November 10, 1893 ibid) was a French politician. From 1885 to 1893 he was a member of the National Assembly .
Jamais studied law in Paris and received his doctorate there in 1881. He then worked as a lawyer in the French capital. He showed political interest and ran in 1885 in the Gard department for the National Assembly. He won a seat and joined the radical faction. In 1889 he stood for re-election and achieved this in the first ballot. In 1892 he was appointed Ministerial Director. In the elections in August 1893, he was re-elected in his constituency without an opposing candidate being put up. He died a little later on November 10, 1893 after a brief illness.
