Émile Lamarre

Émile Lamarre (born September 25, 1886 in Saint-Rémi-de-Napierville , † February 21, 1963 in Montreal ) was a Canadian singer (bass).

Lamarre studied singing with Celine Marier and toured the USA with a theater company. After a short membership in the Quatuor Canadien , he appeared regularly with the Société canadienne d'opérette in the 1920s . From 1930 he was a member of the Quatuor Alouette founded by Roger Filiatrault , with whom he appeared in Canada, the USA, France, Belgium and Brazil and made radio and recordings.
