In Pröles, as the place was called earlier, there was still a castle of the Counts of Czernin in the 18th century .

On August 5, 1908, a severe hailstorm hit the communities Döllnitz, Pröles and Killitz in the district Tepl , so that the entire crop was destroyed. It was the second hail damage in these communities in five years.

Almost all buildings in the village fell victim to fire in the first half of the 20th century and were rebuilt. In 1932 Přílezy was connected to the power grid.

As a result of the Munich Agreement , the place was added to the German Reich as part of the Sudetenland in 1938 and belonged to the Tepl district until 1945 . After the end of the Second World War, the area came back to Czechoslovakia. The German population was expelled. From 1949 Přílezy belonged to the Okres Toužim and in 1961 was incorporated into Krásné Údolí and assigned to the Okres Karlovy Vary. Since 1981 Přílezy has belonged to Útvina as a district .
