Hlinky (German glue pits ) is a village in the Stanovice municipality . It is located six kilometers northeast of Bečov nad Teplou and belongs to the Okres Karlovy Vary in the Czech Republic .

geography

Hlinky is located in the foothills of the Tepler Highlands and belongs to the ChKO Slavkovský les protected landscape area. To the north rises the Kameník (724 m), in the northeast of the Uhelný vrch (772 m), to the south lies the Hůrka (817 m).

Neighboring towns are Dražov in the north, Rybničná and Nové Kounice in the east, Český Chloumek and Přílezy in the southeast, Krásné Údolí , Měchov and Chodov in the south, Vodná in the southwest, Krásný Jez in the west and Ležnice and Teplička in the northwest.

history

Leimgruben was founded in 1726. After the abolition of patrimonial rule, the settlement formed a part of the political community of Trossau in the Karlsbad district from 1850 . In 1878 Leimgruben / Hlínky became an independent municipality, which from 1898 belonged to the Teplá district. In 1930 Leimgruben had 489 inhabitants.

As a result of the Munich Agreement , the place was added to the German Reich in 1938 and belonged to the district of Tepl until 1945 . In 1939, 440 people lived in Leimgruben after the Czechs were expelled. After the end of the Second World War, the community came back to Czechoslovakia and the expulsion of the Germans began .

From 1946 and 1960 the village belonged to the Okres Karlovy Vary-okolí. In 1961 Hlinky was incorporated into Dražov and since 1976 it has been part of the Stanovice municipality . In 1991 the place had 120 inhabitants. In 2001 the village consisted of 25 houses in which 133 people lived.
