The Österreichischer Lloyd Seereederei (Cyprus) Ltd. is a Cypriot shipping company founded in 1951 .
history
The shipping company's head office, now located in Limassol on Cyprus, was founded in Vienna in 1951 ; the German subsidiary in Schenefeld trades under the name of Österreichischer Lloyd Seereederei Gesellschaft mbH. In 2000, the company's own fleet consisted of 23 seagoing vessels. These included container , bulk cargo , refrigerated and special ships . At the same time, around 50 ships were looked after technically and personally through the subsidiary Österreichischer Lloyd Ship Management . Currently (as of 2011) the company owns 10 ships, five multi-purpose ships and five bulk carriers known as mini bulkers.
