The Austrian Dance Sports Association (ÖTSV) was founded in 1958. He is a member of the World Dance Sport Federation (WDSF).

The ÖTSV is an association of member associations and clubs. Around 3500 members are currently practicing their sport in over 125 ÖTSV clubs.
