The Österreichisches Abendblatt was an Austrian daily newspaper that appeared between April 4, 1933 and September 20, 1933. The newspaper was published on working days in Vienna . The Österreichisches Abendblatt was published by the Vaterländischer Pressverein. The editorial team was headed by Alfred Kinast, and Willy Marx took over this task from August 2, 1933. The book, art and newspaper printing company Albrecht Dürer was commissioned to print the Austrian evening paper until June 21, 1933, after which the university printing company Rudolf Hanel was responsible.

From April 5 to June 21, 1933, the Austrian Evening Gazette appeared as an evening edition of the Wiener Mittagsblatt . From September 1 to September 20, 1933, it appeared as an evening edition of the Österreichisches Morgenblatt . The successor to the Austrian Evening Paper , which was discontinued in September 1933, was the Austrian Evening Paper .
