Özgen Ergin
Özgen Ergin (* 1947 in Kapadokya , Turkey) is a Turkish author who lives and works in Germany . The social worker works as both a poet and a narrator .
Life
Ergin, who has been in Germany since 1973, published Charlie Kemal, a German-language volume in 1992 with his own stories, which he himself translated into German; some of these had already appeared in Turkish in the volumes Şarlo Kemal (1987) and Derin Sularda (1990) in Istanbul . Ergin also tried his hand at German as a poet.
According to another volume of short stories in Turkish, Galatalı Angelos (1999), the first novel by the Cologne author was published in 2005 : Firdöndü . This fateful family saga received a lot of attention in the Turkish media.
