The Østre Fredrikstad Church ( Norwegian Østre Fredrikstad kirke ) is located in Fredrikstad , Province of Viken / Norway .

The church is centrally located in the old town ( Gamlebyen ) of Fredrikstad. The stone construction began after the great fire of 1764, in which almost all the houses in the city were destroyed. The church, which forms the center of the eastern parish of Fredrikstad with about 7,000 members, was consecrated on September 22nd, 1779. The builder was Christian Ludvig Clementz (1724–1800). Østre Fredrikstad Church is the seventh church building to be found at this point. The first building dates back to 1567. Like the five following buildings, it burned down.

The stone building, completed in 1779, has 650 seats. It has a length of 40.5 and a width of 30.5  m . The tower has a height of 41 m with the top. The altar panel depicting the Last Supper was made by JS Brøgger (1747–1793) in 1779.
