The Øvstebrufossen is a waterfall in the Norwegian municipality of Stryn in the province Vestland .

It is formed by the mountain river Videdøla , which drops here over a length of 122 meters over a height of 70 meters. Its width varies between 8 and 30 meters. The average amount of water is 3 cubic meters per second.

Immediately north of the waterfall, on its right-hand side, runs almost parallel to the well-known and tourist popular mountain road Gamle Strynefjellsvegen , which is part of Riksvei 15 and bridges Videdøla a little further north. There is a parking lot near Øvstebrufossen, from which a steep path leads down along the waterfall. A large stone with the inscription Nedgang Øvstebro foss indicates the finish.
