The Þórufoss is a waterfall in the capital area of Iceland .

This waterfall is located 1.5 km northwest of Lake Stíflisdalsvatn, whose outflow is the Laxá í Kjós . A good 100 m from Kjósaskarðvegur, road 48, the water falls 12 m. The road connects Hvalfjörður with Þingvellir . The Pokafoss follows downstream .
