Showered
Ābguscht or Abgusht (English also Abgoosht , Persian آبگوشت, DMG Ābgūšt ) is a Persian , but also a Mesopotamian braised meat soup. This is also called "Dizi" when it is made in a traditional clay pot. Ingredients for Ābgusht are usually lamb, chickpeas , white or other kidney bean- like beans, onions, potatoes, tomatoes, turmeric and dried limes . Further variations are provided by snake beans.
The ingredients are mixed and boiled. The solid ingredients are then pureed and served with broth. This is served in its own bowl with Nān-e Lavāsch or "Nān-e Barbari". The flatbread is cut into small pieces and the brewing bowl is filled with it until the broth is completely absorbed.
