Incirlik Cumhuriyet

İncirlik Cumhuriyet is a city in the Turkish province of Adana with about 16,000 inhabitants in the district of Yüreğir about 10 km east of Adana . It consists of the villages of Hürriyet, Kemalpaşa and Yeni Mahalle. The city is the location of the Incirlik Air Base .

İncirlik (pronounced [ indʒiɾˈlik ]) means “fig grove ” in Turkish.
