Ľubomír Galko (born February 14, 1968 in Klieština , Okres Považská Bystrica ) is a Slovak entrepreneur and politician of the SaS party . From July 8, 2010 to November 23, 2011 he was the Minister of Defense of Slovakia in the Iveta Radičová government .

Life

On November 23, 2011, he was recalled by Prime Minister Iveta Radičová following a wiretapping scandal . The scandal revolves around the alleged wiretapping of the editors of the daily Pravda and the director of the news channel TA3 by the Slovak military intelligence service .
