The Łódź Art Center is a cultural and artistic center in Łódź . The center was created in 2005 from the initiative of Fundacja Edukacji Wizualnej ( Foundation for Visual Education ) and the artists associated with the International Museum of Art.

The Łódź Biennale and the Fotofestiwal Łódź were realized here. The Łódź Art Center was built in nine factory halls with a total area of over 8,000 square meters in a restored almost 150-year-old Scheibler textile factory in the former industrial area on Ulica Tymienieckiego 3.

The renovated rooms received the “Wnętrza Roku 2004” award (Interior of the Year 2004) from the Łódź architects for the best restoration of sights.

In addition to regular events in the Łódź Art Center, individual exhibitions, vernissages, conferences and workshops are also offered here. The famous festivals in Łódź Art Center include the International Photo Festival - "Photo Festival" and the International Design Festival - Łódź Design, which has existed since 2007 . The center organizes numerous art and cultural projects together with many cultural institutions from Łódź and other cities. One of the basic elements of the existence of the center is the cooperation with partner cities, foreign galleries and individual curators.

Łódź Art Center is run by a group of young cultural animators who strive to consolidate the cityscape as a modern and culture-friendly city.
