Ōki Satō

Ōki Satō ( Japanese 佐藤 オ ​​オ キ , Satō Ōki ; born December 24, 1977 in Toronto , Canada ) is a Japanese designer and architect .

Life

Satō was born in Toronto due to his father's profession. His school education took place in Tokyo . In 2002 he graduated from the Faculty of Science and Technology at Waseda University in Tokyo , where he obtained an MA in architecture in 2002 .

In the same year he opened the Nendo office in Tokyo ("clay; clay"), which works in product design, architecture and interior design, as well as graphic design. In 2005 he set up a branch office in Milan . The offices are very successful and bring an average of 100 products onto the market each year.

From 2012 to 2014 Satō worked as a private lecturer at his alma mater .
