Świetliki is a Polish (underground) rock band that combines experimental music with lyrical lyrics.

history

The group, whose German name means “glow worms”, emerged in October 1992 from the Krakow student combo Trupa Wertera Utrata . The initiator, singer / reciter and lyricist is the Polish poet and journalist Marcin Świetlicki . The first record, entitled Ogród koncentracyjny (Concentration Garden ), has been followed by four more CDs and three EPs to date. In a way, the performances of the group, which has also included the well-known film actor Bogusław Linda since 2005 , combine elements of blues , rock , punk and hip-hop with forms of poetry slam . Since 2002, some members of the group have also appeared in the Czarne Ciasteczka project .
