The Arena Šiauliai ( Lithuanian Šiaulių Arena ) is the largest arena in Šiauliai , Lithuania . The hall is used for both basketball games and concerts . The basketball club KK Šiauliai has been playing its LKL games and its ULEB Cup games in the arena since it opened on July 27, 2007 . The arena was also the venue for Group B of the 2011 European Basketball Championship .

history

The arena was built by the Panevėžio Statybos Trestas company from Panevėžys in 18 months. The cost of the arena totaled 75.5 million litas (approximately 21,721,000 ).
