Žamagirk '

Žamagirk ' is the name of the liturgical book for the celebration of the hours (times of the day) in the Armenian rite . It roughly corresponds to the horologion of the Greek and the book of hours of the Latin liturgies.

One of the oldest known copies is the manuscript in the Biblioteca della Congregazione armena mechitarista , Isola di San Lazzaro degli Armeni , Cod. 629 (olim 677) from 1284.

Today's printed editions go back to an edition published in 1642 in Neu-Julfa , the Armenian district of Isfahan (Iran).
