Abdullah ibn Wahb ar-Rasibi

Abdullah ibn Wahb ar-Rasibi ( Arabic عبد الله بن وهب الراسبي, DMG ʿAbdallāh b. Wahb ar-Rāsibī ; died 658 ) was one of the leaders of the Kharijites . His nickname "the one with the calluses" is related to his constant prostration ( sadschda ).

He turned against Ali , Muhammad's cousin and son-in-law, for accepting arbitration with Muawiya , the Umayyad governor of Syria . 658, he was separated from the troops of Ali Kharijites in Ḥarūrā' , near Kufa , elected leader, Ali should have been detached.

He led campaigns against Ali's troops and died in the Battle of Nahrawan .
