Ḫuzziya II.
Ḫuzziya II. Was a Hittite great king in the 15th century BC. Chr.
His predecessor was Zidanta II , who lived around 1450 BC. Ruled and Kizzuwatna secured as a buffer state. One of his closest confidants and chief of the bodyguard, Muwattalli , murdered him and declared himself great king, but made the mistake of appointing Ḫuzziya's sons, Kantuzzili and Ḫimuili, to high offices. They murdered him and put Tudḫaliya I , a son, grandson or son-in-law of Ḫuzziyas on the throne.
