Zidanta II was around 1450 BC. BC. Hittite Great King.

Zidanta was the son and successor of the great king Ḫantili II. He secured the function of the same as a buffer state through a treaty with Pilliya , king of Kizzuwatna . This was extremely important, because Egypt undertook campaigns in Syria and in the east the Mitanni empire rose to become a great power. His successor was Ḫuzziya II.

Zidanta's wife Iyaya was named after the goddess Iyaya of the same name .
