1st division (chess) 1963/64

The 1963/64 season was the second season of the 1st Division, which was then the top division of the Danish team championship in chess .

The Aarhuser Nordre Skakklub and the Københavns Skakforening fought head-to-head for the title, which in the end saw Nordre just ahead. Industriforeningens SK and Ålborg had to go down without a chance . For the reported team squads, see team squad of the 1st division (chess) 1963/64 .

Game dates

The competitions were held on September 15, 1963, October 6, 1963, October 27, 1963, November 17, 1963, December 8, 1963, January 12, 1964 and February 2, 1964. The last round was played centrally in Valby , the other decentralized at the participating clubs.
