The 1. FC Miltach is a sports club from the Upper Palatinate Municipality Miltach . It was founded in 1923. In addition to the successful football department, the club also offers women's gymnastics, judo, running, skiing / Nordic walking, tennis, table tennis and volleyball.
history
The club rose in 1985 for the first time in the Landesliga Mitte , in which - interrupted by two relegations - spent a total of 16 seasons. In the 1987/88 season they were runner-up and were relegated to the Bayern League . In the decisive game in Kelheim, however, they lost 3: 4 after extra time against Schwaben Augsburg despite a 3-1 lead.
In 1990 they qualified for the first main round of the DFB Cup , in which the club in Cham lost to Bundesliga club 1. FC Nürnberg with 1: 3.
