The 1. SBC Bielefeld (officially: 1. Snooker & Billard Club Bielefeld eV ) is a billiards club from Bielefeld . The first team played in the 1st snooker league for two years .

history

The association was founded in 1989 and is based in the Stieghorst district . On 450 square meters , the club has twelve snooker tables, four of which have steel block boards. In 1999 the Bielefeld team rose to the 1st snooker league and immediately became runner-up behind 1st SC Breakers Rüsselsheim . A year later the 1st SBC finished third, but then withdrew from the Bundesliga for unknown reasons. In 2002 he was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga and was runner-up there in 2005 behind SCSC Kiel . After third places in 2007 and 2008, relegation followed in 2009. Five years later they were promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga again, but Bielefeld was the penultimate and had to relegate directly.
