In the 29th season of the men's tennis Bundesliga 2000 , the ETUF Essen team became German champions.

The German champions 2000 were determined in two finals of the table top against the table runner-up, with each club having home rights once. The ETUF Essen was able to prevail in both games against Blau-Weiss Neuss . ETuF clearly won the first leg 8: 1 and the second leg just 5: 4.
