In the 30th season of tennis league of gentlemen the team was in 2001 Dinslakener TG Blau-Weiss German champions.
Season overview
The German champions 2001 were determined in two finals of the table top against the table runner-up, with each club having home rights once. The Dinslaken TG Blau-Weiss was able to prevail in the first game against ETuF Essen 6: 3. But ETuF also won the second leg 6: 3. In order to be able to determine the German champions 2001, the sentences had to be counted. Here TG Blau-Weiss from Dinslaken had the better set ratio and was thus German champion in 2001.
The TC Rot-Weiss Hagen has to be relegated after 12 years of uninterrupted membership in the 1st Bundesliga, as well as the KHTC Mülheim , which was only able to stay in the upper house for two years.
