1111 Lincoln Road
1111 Lincoln Road is the name and address of a parking garage in Miami Beach that was completed in 2010 . In addition to 300 parking spaces, “1111 Lincoln Road” also offers shops on the ground floor, a penthouse on the roof as well as bars, restaurants and event spaces. The multi-storey car park is a completely open concrete structure without a facade, with a ceiling height of six to nine meters that is far higher than the usual ceiling height of car parks. An open staircase is installed in the middle of the building for pedestrians. The Swiss architects Herzog & de Meuron designed the building. The construction cost was $ 65 million. In 2011, the seventh floor of the building served, among other things, as the venue for the Miami Gay and Lesbian Film Festival .
