199th Infantry Division (Wehrmacht)
The 199th Infantry Division (Wehrmacht) was a German infantry division during World War II . The division was set up on November 1, 1940 in Norway and was stationed exclusively in the Narvik area for a long time . The division was relocated to Brandenburg at the end of April 1945 . In the Brandenburg area, the division was largely taken prisoner of war by the Soviets in May 1945 .
