Erquinvillers is a French municipality with 183 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in Oise in the region of Hauts-de-France (before 2016 Picardy ). It is located in the Arrondissement of Clermont and is part of the Communauté de communes de l'Oise Picarde and the canton of Saint-Just-en-Chaussée . The inhabitants are called Erquinvillois .

Erquinvillers is about 38 kilometers east-northeast of Beauvais . Erquinvillers is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Lieuvillers in the north, Pronleroy in the east, Noroy in the south and southeast and Cuignières in the south and west.

history

On June 10, 1940, the Greater Germany division committed a war crime in which at least 150 soldiers of the 24e régiment de tirailleurs sénégalais were murdered.
