Tricot is about 23 kilometers northwest of Compiègne . Tricot is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Le Ployron in the north, Le Frestoy-Vaux in the northeast, Courcelles-Epayelles in the east, Méry-la-Bataille in the southeast, Montgérain in the south, Coivrel in the west and Godenvillers in the northwest.
