Thury-sous-Clermont is a French municipality with 679 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in Oise in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Clermont and is part of the Communauté de communes Thelloise and the canton of Mouy .

geography

The community is located on the southern edge of the Forêt domaniale de Hez-Froidmont forest around four kilometers east-northeast of Saint-Félix and six kilometers north of Mouy . The village of Fillerval belongs to it. Precipitation in the municipal area drains via the Rû de Lombardie stream to Thérain .

Fillerval Castle

War memorial

Saint-Médard Church, a cross-shaped church begun in the 11th century.
Fillerval Castle, around 1790, restored after a fire in the 1950s. An older castle was acquired by Jacques Cassini (Cassini II) in 1719 and served as the residence of the Cassini family well into the 19th century. Jean Dominique Comte de Cassini had the structure demolished in 1784 and the current Fillerval Castle built in its place. The garden is entered in the pre-inventory of the remarkable gardens.
