Choisy-la-Victoire is a French municipality with 236 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in Oise in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the Arrondissement of Clermont and is part of the Communauté de communes de la Plaine d'Estrées and the canton of Estrées-Saint-Denis .
geography
The municipality is located immediately adjacent to the neighboring municipality of Avrigny , around 37 kilometers east of Beauvais and 14.5 kilometers east of Clermont south of Route nationale 31 ( European route 46 ), on which the district of Froyères is located. The department road D111 crosses the municipality in a north-south direction. In the south, the municipality extends to the edge of a moor area (moors of Sacy-le-Grand ).
Toponymy and History
The addition to the name is derived from the Abbaye de la Victoire in Senlis , to which the municipality has been subordinate since 1469. From 1826 to 1832, the neighboring communities of Blincourt and Avrigny were united with Choisy-la-Victoire.

economy
The community owned a sugar factory since 1856, which became a distillery in 1951; this was closed in 1958.
