Armin Pinggera

Armin Pinggera (born May 10, 1944 in Dornbirn ) is a South Tyrolean lawyer and politician.

biography

Pinggera grew up in St. Valentin on the Haide in Vinschgau and attended the Marienberg Abbey high school . After taking his high school diploma in Bolzano , he studied law at the University of Florence . He then took up his professional activity as a lawyer.

For years he was politically active for the South Tyrolean People's Party (SVP) in local politics, from 1979 to 2006 he was chairman of the local group in Schlanders . In the Italian parliamentary elections in 1996 he was able to win a mandate for the Senate in the single constituency of Merano , which he held until the end of the 2001 legislative period.
